Modern Greece to be enjoyed on Rhodes: villa

April 2009

Fully coherent with the architectural style rendering unique the Cyclades, this lone-standing villa comes under a project for a residential complex consisting of homes of various sizes.

This detached villa, recalling tradition while winking at modernity, has a C-shaped floor plan, creating a private and secluded internal courtyard with a distinctive classical wooden pergola, an element found in almost all buildings here, from which to safely enjoy the terrace facing over the pool even during the hot months of summer.

Facing on the courtyard are all the rooms of the house: the bedrooms in the side wings, and the large and luminous living room in the centre. All openings to the exterior are, instead, small and closed, with window frames and fittings with the colour of the sea and sky.

Naturally, there is a roof terrace, accessible from steps outside from which to admire the sunset over the Aegean Sea.
